20 Things We Like - Video 7: Kandariya Mahadeva

Khajuraho is a complex of temples in northern India, built between the 9th and 11th Century by the Chandela Dynasty.

The Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is the largest and most ornate of the group. In Episode 7 of our '20 Things We Like’ film series, Kasan Goh - Director and co-owner of Clay Architecture - discusses the architecture of the Kandariya Mahedeva temple and, in particular, its complex geometry inspired by natural forms.

Kasan believes we can learn a lot from how geometry can order and give form to a design of many different parts, and bring the parts together into a co-ordinated whole.

We hope you enjoy it.
