RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant vacancy

We’re looking for a RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team of architects in Gillingham, Kent.

Key responsibilities include assisting the directors in running projects, with the design and coordination of RIBA work stages 1 to 6 and providing support for practice-related tasks as and when necessary.

We are a small practice, so you’ll really get involved in everything and be able to see through projects from start to finish.

What we’re offering

This is a full-time role and you’ll receive a competitive annual salary, 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a workplace pension.

Our studio is in Gillingham, Kent and that’s where this role is based. We’ll be happy to discuss flexible working once you are fully-trained on our project and practice systems. This take around six months. We passionately believe in the importance of a good work-life balance.

About you

We need an enthusiastic and creative graduate with a passion for architecture and sustainability. You must have at least one year’s experience as an Architectural Assistant and be able to demonstrate strong design, drafting and presentation skills, alongside 3D and or physical model-making skills. You will need to show initiative and a practical approach to your work to able to assist in running projects. And, you should be working towards RIBA Part 3.
