Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese explorer, was the first European to set foot in India. The Portuguese traders that followed him brought the chilli pepper from South America to Asia. The rest is history, which we love. We also love curry.
In this film, Clay Architecture Director Kasan Goh visits his favourite curry house, Sun Asia Food in Gravesend, Kent. Kumar is from Sri Lanka and Ta is from Thailand, and from their little shop in Gravesend they serve delicious curries from both cultures, including a special hybrid samosa with a Thai spring roll shell, Sri Lankan filling, and Thai chilli dip.
